PGNiG Upstream Norway has acquired 20% shares in the Duva field – PL 636 and PL636B licenses – from Wellesley Petroleum AS. First production is expected at the turn of 2020 and 2021.

On Sunday, January 27th 2019, PGNiG Polish Oil and Gas Company will receive another load of liquefied natural gas. It will be the 50th delivery to the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal in Świnoujście. Thus the total LNG volume purchased so far by PGNiG will amount to approximately 5.7 bcm after regasification.

Polish Oil and Gas Company and the American company Port Arthur LNG, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, have signed a 20-year contract for the sales and purchase of liquefied natural gas. On the basis of the concluded agreement, PGNiG will buy annually 2 million tonnes of LNG (approximately 2.7 bcm after regasification).

On Thursday December 13th, PGNiG SA will receive a delivery of liquefied gas shipped to Świnoujście by Centrica LNG Company Limited. It will be the third spot delivery arriving at the President Lech Kaczyński Terminal this year.

Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) and Cheniere Marketing International LLP have signed a long-term agreement for supplies of liquefied natural gas from the USA.

For a 20-year term, Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) will receive liquefied natural gas from the USA for domestic customers or for resale. Under the agreements, PGNiG will purchase LNG on a free on board (FOB) basis starting from the commercial operation date of the Venture Global Calcasieu Pass LNG export facility, currently expected in 2022, and the commercial operation date of the Venture Global Plaquemines LNG export facility, currently expected in 2023.

The Polish Oil and Gas Company Group (PGNiG) has signed a five-year contract for LNG supply sourced from Sabine Pass LNG Terminal, USA, with Centrica LNG Company Limited (Centrica).
